Renewal of Baptismal Covenant

On January 10, 2010 members of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church renewed their Baptism promises and witnessed the Baptism of our youngest member.  This service was a reminder to parents that they promised to nurture their children’s spiritual lives in Christ.    Mime and parish member Flutterby joined us to help me speak to the children about the importance of Baptism.

Terrific photos. What a wonderful idea to invite a mime to the special service. Hopefully she will be able to return to future events and services. She was enjoyed by both young and old, and me, somewhere in between?

Nice going, Miriam! I think you have what you are looking for. Very well done. Kudos.

The photos are great! and the mime was a great idea. I asked the kids in Sunday School this week about what they thought, most thought it was a fun idea, one thought it was weird.

This was a great service and certainly one our girls will remember for a long time!

I thought that the way you taught the children about communion was fabulous-it made me want to leave so I could get my grandchildren and come back with them,,,,
